Chandeliers Buying Guide
A chandelier earns its place through scale. Too small and it looks lost; too large and the room feels crowded.
Sizing it
- Over a table, aim for a fitting roughly two thirds the width of the table.
- In an open room, add the room’s length and width in metres — that number in centimetres is a reasonable diameter to aim for.
- Check the weight against your ceiling. Anything heavy needs to fix into a joist or a proper anchor.
Before you order
- Check the dimensions. Every Laruya product page lists them, so you can measure the space first.
- Check the power supply. Some fittings are hardwired and need a qualified electrician; others simply plug in.
- Pick your colour temperature. Warm white around 3000K for a relaxed room, cool white around 6000K where you need to see clearly.
