Care
Do not modify this product in any way. Our products are designed and tested to meet safety standards. Modifications to the product(s) can result in product failure and/or safety issues which we will not be responsible for. Dust with a soft, dry cloth or duster. Clean with a soft, damp, colourfast cloth + mild soap & water. For stubborn stains, use non-abrasive, water-based cleaners only. To protect the finish, avoid the use of chemicals, household cleaners and abrasives. If you are going to use a mild cleaner or chemical, it is recommend to first test it on a small discreet location to see how it reacts with the materials before applying it to visible areas. Avoid flooding laminate surfaces as liquids can seep between the joints and loosen the laminate from the substrate and/or damaging the substrate. Always wipe the surface in the direction of the wood grain and ensure there is no pooling of liquid at the seams. Always use a coaster when setting any vessel containing hot liquids on any surfaces. Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp, colourfast cloth to avoid potential staining. Soak up any remaining moisture immediately with a soft, dry, colourfast cloth to prevent potential watermarks, bubbling, etc. Limit direct contact with heat, moisture and other elements to avoid finish damage. To prevent potential colour fading, keep out of direct sunlight. Follow assembly instructions carefully and inspect product upon receipt and each use. Do not make temporary repairs. Do not exceed provided weight limits. Do not use for commercial purposes. Do not leave spilled liquids unaddressed. Do not continue use of product if it has been damaged. Do not place or use on an uneven surface. Do not use products for anything other than their intended purposes. Inspect and re-tighten all hardware connections periodically. Laruya and its parent companies cannot be held legally responsible for any injuries or death resulted from failure to follow instructions or improper use of this product.
The light fitting, plus a mounting plate or bracket where the design needs one, and screws and wall plugs suitable for plasterboard and masonry.
Glass and ceramic shades travel packed separately. Bulbs and remote controls are only included where the product description says so.
That depends on the type, and the product description above says which one you have. A light that ends in a plug needs no installation at all. A hardwired fitting connects straight to your mains, and for those we recommend a qualified electrician.
