Table Lamps Buying Guide
Table lamps are the layer most homes are missing. One on a console or a bedside instantly makes a room feel finished.
Choosing one
- Bedside: the shade’s bottom edge sits best at about eye level when you are sitting up.
- Console or sideboard: keep the lamp under a third of the surface width.
- Rechargeable models move between rooms and need no socket nearby.
Before you order
- Check the dimensions. Every Laruya product page lists them, so you can measure the space first.
- Check the power supply. Some fittings are hardwired and need a qualified electrician; others simply plug in.
- Pick your colour temperature. Warm white around 3000K for a relaxed room, cool white around 6000K where you need to see clearly.
