Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Laruya (LP Brands) collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website and to any order you place through it.

Who We Are

The data controller is LP Brands, Ten Katestraat 35, 6531 EE Nijmegen, Netherlands (KvK 99576473, VAT NL004840035B33). You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@laruya.com.

What We Collect

  • Order information: name, delivery address, billing address, email address, phone number, and the contents of your order.
  • Payment information: processed by Shopify Payments. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card — we never receive the full card number.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: any email or message you send us, and our replies.

Why We Use It

  • To take payment, fulfil and deliver your order, and handle returns (contractual necessity).
  • To provide customer support (contractual necessity / legitimate interests).
  • To detect and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
  • To keep accounting records as required by Dutch and EU law (legal obligation).
  • To send marketing email, only where you have opted in (consent). You can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in any message.

Who We Share It With

We share only what is necessary, with:

  • Shopify — our ecommerce platform and payment processor
  • Delivery carriers — to deliver your parcel and provide tracking
  • Fulfilment partners — to pick, pack and dispatch your order
  • Analytics and advertising providers — where you have consented to those cookies

We do not sell your personal data.

International Transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK and EEA. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism.

How Long We Keep It

Order and invoice records are kept for 7 years to meet statutory accounting requirements. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent. Support correspondence is kept for 2 years.

Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@laruya.com — we respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the shop to work (cart, checkout, security), plus optional analytics and advertising cookies. You can refuse or clear optional cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
